Knoppix is based on an old Debian Bullseye which is not the current stable repository.
Therefore it needs to be slightly adjusted after booting to be able to install new packages, here is a short howto for fast copy&paste:

cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.bak

cat >/etc/apt/sources.list <<'EOF'
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye main contrib non-free
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye-updates main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security main contrib non-free
EOF

apt-get update
cd /tmp
wget http://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/debian-archive-keyring/debian-archive-keyring_2021.1.1+deb11u1_all.deb
dpkg -i debian-archive-keyring_2021.1.1+deb11u1_all.deb
apt-get update
